Programmer Wanted for New Gaming Site
General Information
Looking for programmers in Vancouver, Canada only.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
If you have had experience in programming and designing a live poker web site you will find this project relatively simple.
Project category: Programming / Software / Database Development
Primary skill: Web Development/Programming
Secondary skills: CGI, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Security
Location Requirements
Work performed: Offsite
Project description: Wish to create a simple online gambling web site based on numerous sets of two to four players betting on the outcome of a single rather simple numeric game. Players can choose the set amount they wish to gamble and must have the capability of indicating to other players their plays in real time. Once the game ends amounts of all player bets must be able to be paid automatically to the winning players e-currency account.
Players must have the capability of choosing what players to engage play with. Players also must have the ability to purchase additional "chances" to increase their odds of winning against other player prior to game play beginning.
To play the game players must first pay into a house account with a number of different e-currency providers such as e-gold.com, e-bullion.com, pecunix.com, etc. etc. Winning payments are then distributed from these same house accounts to the winner account.
This project does not require any large amount of active graphics or imaging. Web site design is not complex. The hardest part of developing this site will be coordinating the play between players and acceptance and payment of funds from/to e-currency providers.
Large sets of players would be expected to be playing at any given time so a robust program that is highly secured against hackers would be required.
Will want to meet programmer in person. Will require a confidentiality agreement be signed and references
