hello friends,<br><br>i am glad to inform you that i have undertaken<br>a project development using Microsoft.NET as my <br>platform.<br><br>i have to extend the ERP package of my firm where<br>i will do the project.<br><br>the package is developed in VB 6.0 and MS Access.<br><br>i have to extend to provide handheld device(like<br>mobile phones,palmtops,notebook pcs, PDAs,laptops etc)<br>communication facility.<br><br>in simple terms, one should be able to access a web-site<br>from his/her handheld device.<br><br>i have been asked to analyse requirements completely.<br><br>i am good at VB 6.0 but .NET is totally new for me.<br><br>so as far as the development is concerned, i will have <br>to start it from scatch.<br><br>i need tremendous help from you.<br><br>it is possible that you might want to ask me<br>some questions in order to understand my project.<br><br>so feel free to ask any questions that you want to ask.<br><br>i would also like to inform you that i have purchased a book<br>to understand .NET Framework. its title is,<br> "PROFESSIONAL .NET FRAMEWORK", by WROX publications.<br><br>which chapters do i need to read from this book ?<br><br>well, thats it this time.<br>please reply soon to this.
