Creating Reports

Hi,

I have creating a database for work. One table stores staff information and the other tables in the database store information logged by an end user about the staff. I have to be able to produce charts/reports from this data & display them on a webpage that can be viewed by date, department etc.

I am not sure what way to go about it, as in what programs to use. Is it possible to display access charts on a webpage? Or is excel the way to go? Or am i going about in the complete wrong way. Any help to point me in the right direction would be great.

Thanks,

Jimmy
