Angry Error Codes
I have recently tried to connect to my hotmail account using OE5 but keep getting this error message "Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail (1)', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12019, Error Number: 0x80004005" I have followed the account setup instructions but still keep getting this message : ( HELP

im geting the same error as are doz more on doz more forum site, so you are not allow here, MS mess up again, i think it was all the window update one did of late

so far no fix that i can find
i wrote hotmail, ther never reply back yet
and im still haveing the problem

I had the same problem for months. Just fixed it by applying service pack 2
