how do i validate my html controls using vbscript?

Help!

Can anybody help me? I have an html form with different controls(a checkbox,radio button, multiple select box, single select and textbox). I need to validate if the user had entered a value for each control(or select at least one option). I need to do this client side using vbscript before i submit the form to an asp page. So far, im succesful in validating textbox and i cant figure out how to do it with other controls. Can anyone pls help me? I really need this in vbscript pls.

Is there a reason you are using VBScript for the client-side validation?
What other controls need to be validated?
