Is it possible to query a mp3 file's ID3 information, or the properties where you can put in artist, album, etc. information? If it is, can I have some help doing it? thanks

I'm afraid specifics of the ID3 binary tag structure are beyond the scope of this forum. The ID3 web site (www.id3.org) has all the information you need to code the tag reading yourself. If I were you, I would use a reader someone else has written. It will save you a lot of time and hair. The ID3 site has a list of these readers... both code libraries, ddls, and complete apps. For use in Access VBA, I would recommend you look at the entries under ActiveX components.

--moved to the general Programming Help forum, this obviously got nothing
to do with Access or SQL. |
