questions

Hi, guys. I have a few questions of building a Forum. I hope anyone can give me some hints
If I create an online community, should I just concern
3 parts, users, Admin and system of the forum? 1.That
means the id, name, pwd.... of user. 2.The
announcement, id, management of admin. 3.The thread,
posts, total no of users, threads and the design of
the interface.
With the script of creating a forum, do I just have to
concern about SQL, ASP, HTML and Database? That's all?

you will probably need some javasript too and also you will need CSS to make it look good and work well.

Can i ask an honest question...have you done much programming before?

If not then could i suggest that you try to tackle something a bit easier before jumping into a forum?!

All the best.
