SOAP: Retrieve data from web API

I'm a new in asp.
I'm given as task to retrieve the data from the web API.

I have the API URL path.

I also have WSDL file to generate proxy classes

Can any one please let me know how to populate the data from the particular web api.

Please let me know the step ny step process to retrieve the data.
If some one had written the code for this problem kindly post the program.

Its very very urgent.
