Question Still need help with TXT file dilema

Hello,

I'm sorry to post this again. I posted this in the ASP lounge and got back one reply. I really need some good direction with a tough problem.

Trying to take some lousy designed text files and get the data organized so I can use in a ASP Page.

looks like there were 5 replies in the time you posted this. 5 is bigger than one.
so I really can't understand the reason you posted this instead of replying in
your own thread. more interesting, in there you wrote:
Quote:
I will look at it closer and try and work through this.

this is how you're "looking at it closer and working through it"? by posting
another thread? sorry, but I can't understand your motives.

just for the record, you can still post in your original thread with specific
questions and we'll be glad to help.

p.s.
moving that other thread to the ASP forum don't be alarmed if you can't
find it in the Lounge.

BTW can you delete this topic? I wanted to but couldn't.

I did mention I'm sorry and unsure how to handle this situation. No motives except I just needed some help.

I don't normally post in two places. I just figured I posted in the wrong spot and wasn't getting the people I needed to see it.

Thanks for moving it.
