i have been told by a few that there is too much going on in the site.....not sure if that means with the banner....or what....so, any suggestions if that is true? i really like my banner.....and im using it to label the site with my name and stuff......so without removing IT....what could/should i do to eleminate this "too much" problem??? (if in fact u think there is one)

Too much going on? I didn't think so. Here's a site that has a lot going on.

Just something I noticed... You might want to make sure your bg colour and the bg colour of your animation are the same. Also it's best not to mix serif and sans serif fonts (inside your animation it looks like you are using times new roman while outside you are using verdana or perhaps arial).

Its quite a nice site... the one thing I would be very picky on is that when you bring up the details of a product you lose the site wide navigation. That is one of my pet h8s

The best way is to create yourself a template, for example based on the homepage. And then simply replace the main content area with the content for each page.
An improvement, if you are using a server side tech like ASP or PHP, is to use include files. That way you only have to code the functionlity once and you can use it anuwhere. Although your site seems to be mostly html so that doesn't really aply. |
