Andrey,
I took a look at your site and played around with it for a while. The overall layout is effective but almost too typical in this day and age (it looks like what I would expect it to look like - don't get me wrong, but that's not going to make it stick out in my mind). I do like the expanding menus on the left side, although I might use a '+' symbol instead of the :: - simply because + implies "there's more to see".
Also, the purpose of "registering" is not explained anywhere, therefore I didn't. Does it gain me access to some more content? That aspect of the site was unclear.
As a former a/v shop manager, I disagree with your assessment of salespeople's knowledge - almost every vendor spends a great deal of money making sure salespeople know competitive advantages, features, benefits, etc. However, since there are some people that just get tossed out on the salesfloor without much training or use I guess thats why sites like yours may continue to draw visitors.
Also, your site is very dry on graphics. A big no no nowadays. Soup it up with some icons, sample images, etc. We're in a visual era, people expect images to compliment their reading.
Site worked fine for me, I'm sorry I'm critiquing mostly content. Also, there's a lot of ads and links, etc. It doesn't quite seem coherent. I'm not sure if I'm looking at an enthusiasts website or a merchant's cleverly disguised site. (I know you're an enthusiast, but others may not recognize it as such)
Take care,
Dave
