Earlier i used to have prominent amount of visitors from yahoo( via searches ). But of late, i havent recieved any visitors from yahoo. Its been almost a month. Its almost like they have blacklisted my website though it has no adult content. I am not sure why have they done this. Can somebody help me in this matter, it would be really really great on his part as i am loosing onto some precious visitors. Thanks a lot Warm Regards Jasdeep Singh webmaster@weightloss-health.com http://www.weightloss-health.com Last edited by Shadow Wizard : June 17th, 2005 at 05:53 PM. The site needs a design.
Looking at the site, you need to learn CSS, so you can style your fonts differently, and within a theme of fonts which match the style of the page. You could try a logo. Basically, you need a separate person with creative ability to do the artwork. As for the business function, this style of site is at the low end of the credibility spectrum. As such, you will need to add some credibility to put confidence in the users mind that you are ridgy didge. Will these sites increase in credibility ? Probably not. As for Yahoo, they may have judged that some of your SEO techniques you are using are un-natural. Unusual for Yahoo, much more common for Google. Your pages lead to other websites such as http://www.smoothfitness.com Thats a good example of how to upgrade your site. Look at the basics of that design. Need Total Overhaul! *Tips
Hi there,
No offence , but if you want to make something out of your website you need to revamp it. Couple of tips: * Use a centered table to hold all the contents(Right now its spread all across the screen) * Use a clean, Responsive header *Format/clean the text and links. *Organize the articles...don't put all the titles on the same page. * NO outgoing links(unless they are your affilliate links) Hope this helps. i would have to agree...site needs improvement...and lack of .css design shows dramatically ...outdated tables stick out badly <hint> look at micky's/travis's site above and notice the clean lines and how fluid it is...it's the magic of stylesheets ...bottom-line - .css IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR GREAT WEB DESIGN
