Hi,
We have launched this web site https://online.mit.edu.au/ams/ recently. 1) What do you think of the web site? 2) When the user is trying to print the page the browser(IE) is getting crashed. Can you suggest me? I am just using the CSS, DHTML, JavaScript and ASP regards, Chakri |

The site is vulnerable to SQL Injection attacks.
Do a search on google on how to prevent them. |

and you don't have valid SSL, see the attached image.
do not use https unless you have valid SSL... as for the website itself: 1. I had no problems printing it. probably that was browser issue. 2. the design is nice and simple, well done. 3. in the Contact Us you better add the ability to send free feedback in addition to emails. having ASP support it should be very simple. about SQL Injection, you indeed lack the most basic validations... you must fix that ASAP otherwise anyone can hack easily into the database. |

Yep overall i like the design layout and useability of the site, the thing i like best the reaosn for the site, its based round a clear target audience and has alot of relavent info.
One thing i don't and its faily minor but on some pages like examinations and library, there is no gap between the links bar and the text, there are other pages like this, and it does look a little messy. On your documents page, i would like to see zip files that you can download, i hate view pdf files on the browser as not many people tell you the file size of the and they can takes ages to load in, plus in your case people may want to downlaod them and put the straight onto possibly a floppy or other storage device and if they are in zip format as well it would make it easier to pass on. It may also be wise to state if the documents are pdf or word, and provide links to adobe reader and a doc reader, as not everyone may have them. And i cannot understand why the site is on SSL, as from what i can see there is no reason, the data help on the site is not worth anything to anyone( i suspect anyway) However nice site good luck

Extremely informative site, however these faults I'm about to relay are pedantic, why the need to change the font on the home page - the left info bar is about two sizes bigger tha in your main focus table. Also, get a bette res image for your page in the near top right hand - I think it was the Melboune Technology Iinstitute image - it looks awful.
Did not like the course descriptors being hidden as download links, very off putting. That aside, very well structured as an info base site. |
