I am slightly color blind but so it might just be me, but your logo olours seem to close together to be able to make out what your logo is without really looking at it, and there is loads of white space next to your logo which to me look as if there is something missing.

I agree with Sepodati, again the wasted space in your menus also looks as if there is something missing.

I don't like your rate us link, it also takes you away from the site, and this will distract people away from that possible sale.

Last thing is, your navigation is none existant, one thing I hate and again this might just be me, is when you click on a catagory, you are then given a simple text list of sub divisions, not what if i wanted to browse through them all, there is no option for that, plus i have to use two clicks to view any products at all, and then i have no idea where I am on your site, as there are no breadcumbs and I have to keep using the back button which i also hate.

Oh just found another one, your tell a friend link, which seems to be in an od place, as its not aligned with anything or in any particulr place, doesn't even contain a url for your site, and you provide an email address "Your friends email here" which in principle looks ok but I suspect will case a few errors for the people not so fleunt in computers.

Oh and one other thing there are several pages that are part of your site but loose your logo bars, and side bars and no longer looks like the user is on your site this is highly confuse; https://www.jwswholesale.com/special/CS/help.asp and http://www.jwswholesale.com/special/CS/feedback.htm

hmmm the more i look the more i find, you charge for people before people even have to pay wow, and people let you do that?

I wouldn't buy something from you unless you had telephone support, i hate waiting for emails and cannot shout at someone that has an email address.

it is my opinion and I may be wrong, but I would not recomend putting other sites that sell products on yours, even if they are alliflate, surel you will moake much more money if you sell the product rather than the person you are advertising. but it gives people a reaosn to leave your site and they don't even have to type anything in the url box even if its just to price compare, what you might want to link that is just using google adds and making them related to your products but things you don't directly sell, I kow you can filter the adds, so look at stopping all electrical goods shops if you can, but get adds like ringtowns, TV listings, movie reviews, product review sites, manufacturers websites (unless they sell), music sites and anything related to your products but not in direct compition, making as much money as you can from one source.



there are two points to this

the top menu bar as a logo, there is an oddlooking ad at the top and a search bar at the bottom but in between this there is a lot of white space, one solution to this would be make your logo smaller to reduce the space inbetween, but I would take out the ad at the top, and make your logo, a little smaller but put more valuable info in the space, like a catch phrase of your sales number or your address, anything is better than white space.

the second is the menu down the left hand side, the longest text link you have is "Observation, Security Systems" but after the text there is about an inch of empty space, if you closed down that empty spaceyou would have more room to display your products, giving you more flexiblity.

However all I read at first was the question and the answer as yes, even once i read the answer it still doesn't mention a buyers club, it might be a good idea to rephrase the question to some thing like, do you offer a buyers club and if so what is it?

That way people who just glance at the FAQ will not get put off.

In regards to templates, well i know alot of people that to be honest don't care if its a template as long as the price and the service is good they will happily buy from you, I think if you just took away most of the ads (maybe just kept them down the right hand side) and tidyed it up so everything where aligned it would make a massive difference.

I have got one question, on your win a free shipping if I keep entering the numbers from 1 - 1000 will I eventually get the right answer is so, you might want to think about putting a cookie system to limit the number of chances, but you may find your happy with the system all depends on how much business it gets you and how much it costs you.

the one thing I would recommend if breadcrumbs, if you look at the top of this thread it should say:

Viewing: ASP Free Forums > Web Design > Site Reviews > Many updates to www.jwswholesale.com

that is breadcrumbs basically you leave a breadcumb trail to follow, so if you want to back to the last place you where then its easy to do so without using the broswer buttons.
