Please could you have a look at a new site i built for an up and coming indie band.

Design-wise it is a very nice looking site.

nice site all i would advice is try and get the file size down from what i can see the section for pictures is 900ish k and there is hardly anything in there which warrents it tobe 900k and if your going to use flash then it need to more animation etc otherwise you might aswell build it as html. but appart from that it looks good

I liked it, just one or two points, get rid of the login for administrator on the contact page, put it elsewhere in the servers root, your just inviting trouble at your doorstep having it there. Have a membership page where tons of extra goodies can be found this would allow you to keep fans more intouch with emails and the like also merchandising etc.. being sent out in emails.

Looks good though, very now (franz ferdinandish), like it!

While I like the look and feel of the site, I was put off by the fact that everytime I went to a new page I got a loading screen.

in short it looks good and the guys above have made some excellent points. Flash is an excellent tool but it has to be used properly, people not on broadband will not wait for a loading screen! I came to learn that a few years back. If you are using flash it needs to be quick and it needs more animation as has been said.

i would personally center the site as well, up in the top left it looks odd to me!

i like the menu that is cool!

i agree with RF you can make flash very interesting hell i have won awards for a site u built it flash, if u have alot of flash question etc you need answering try FLASHKIT very good message board there alot like this one but for flash not asp ;o))
