Please Review These 2 Layouts

Hi,

I have submitted my old layout before, and recently made a new one. But seems like its not very successful..Can you please compare the 2 and give some advices? Thanks!

Michael I'll give you 10 out of 10 for effort but some of us just don't have the knack of web design including myself - try this site , its open source web design templates, fully validated and CSS driven ready to download and populate with your own data once you find a design that suits.

If anything it'll give you experience in layout design there's also the option of having your site as a Wordpress Blog or Joomla CMS theme that have a modern look and feel.

The text is too large and the page seems too "Bulky".

Haha thanks guys, but Paul, it's okay that my designs are bad, I'm just turned 15 so it's a long way down the road before I'll be able to satisfy myself, it's a process of learning so it'd be much more helpful if you could point out how I can improve on my design. (Especially the second one)

And yes that is my name jmurrayhead.

I will look into anti-hacking asap!

Sorry for reviving this old post, I worked on my site occassionally and after what seems like a century, the new layout I was talking about ealier got more developed and now has completely replaced the old one.

Can anyone please give some extra comments again for me to improve on it? I won't be able to tackle my site much when schools starts.

and you don't even have a Doc type. I think the layout is too big and bulky, and the text is definitely too big. It is, however, and improvement since the last time I saw it.

I like em' icy! Original work is the best. I hate templates, but that's only because I know how to design sites and use the correct software to make my own stuff. Keep up the good work. -Gib F.

It's the most annoying site I've ever seen from the most annoying person I've ever met in here... At least you and your nonsense site are in complete harmony..

WHY WHY WHY almost every time the page refreshes, the template change?
At the attachment I have 4 of them... I couldn't waste any more time refreshing...

I don't think that is his site anymore DR. The original post is from 2007. The site is now just displaying a template links ad page.

My guess is he gave up and didn't renew the domain name, which has now been taken over, most probably, by the company he registered it through.

Perhaps a mod should consider closing this thread....
