I'm trying to attract bands and clubs to join and post their gigs, and the general public to have a place to find out about bands and clubs. (I also want to generate ad revenue, at least until such time as I get enough paying members to do away with ads.)

I'd like comments on design, layout, navigation, etc.

Well i like the concept but i suspect this task will be massive, espcially cos you are trying to make it multi national, might be beteer stating smaller and concertrating more on that market the expanding.

With the site being band ralated i expected something a little more funcky, its a bit drab for me, in terms of the market you aiming at.

I also think there is to much info crambed into a small space on your home page, and i found it hard to take in and read

i also think your search facility is a bit lifeless i don't really know what that means but i didn't really like it, and it might be better having subdomains to sort out different countries

I dont really like the logo i also think that needs improving the target audience is very much about image and i think thats needs to be your focus.

your add a notice BB, has errors in it it doesn't replace ' in the name

I don't really like the navigation but cannot figure out why, i don't like your shop bit going to another site that put me off.

I feel thet site could offer so much more and has to be more image based with more pics and more atmostphere.

ut thats only my thoughts and a bit higgledy piggledy at that lol good luck

If people make posts like this and ask for money, it could be extortion. Don't ever give anyone access to your site that says they can "fix" it for you, either. May be obvious, but just throwing that out there.

Good concept, pretty extensive DB also... what are you using ASP, PHP , access, SQL?

Loads fast..maybe let the layout breath a little more.
