The problem is that theres some html attribute that are associated with the javascript. I have a form validation code that requires me to add a new attribute to the forms that I want to validate.

Those attributes are considered undefined by w3c standards. =(

Is it okay that I leave those things alone?

It's fine to leave them. They are added to the DOM after the page loads. Thus, no one cares as long as the browser renders it correctly.

Again I'd like to thank you so much for all this help.
It completely transformed my blog.

If it doesn't bother you, I can also use some tips on traffic driving. =(

I tried Digg but seemingly it's really unfair to new users as friends are required on there. I have an account with about 500 friends but it's still very hard to get on the frontpage or even gain a decent amount of traffic. I use StumbleUpon also. It is slightly better but still not enough to do anything serious.

Any tips?

Traffic building is a black art of its own and is mostly trial and error.

I've found for blogs that generating linkbacks is the most effective means of marketing. Post comments on similar blog or sites containing similar content with a link back to a relevant post on your own site. Always watch other bloggers who may reuse your content. Always be sure that they provide a link back. Return links on a relevant page are far more valuable that a one-time front page listing on some other site as they will continue to drive traffic.

Outside of that, consider articles like the following that presents some pretty good advice for marketing your blog:

(See? Case in point. These 5 blogs just got valuable, relevant linkbacks just based on this one thread.)
