Access to SQL migration. With .NET DataRelation Namespace pending
Originally posted by : I'm so green (johnsitka@hotmail.com)This seems like a lot to grasp... I rewrite my Access Queries to SQL Stored Procedures, Update the Apps we have now at work. Then there is this DataRelation Object which means an effective way to operated is use individual Data Adapters for each table and manipulate the DataSet in the App itself.. Arg. Which way do I go? There is already so much info to wade thru. I'm going nuts with indecision. Who can possibly know all this stuff?Just getting a direction will take months... and talking to the people at work gets me nowhere, because I don't know what the hell I'm talking about and they don't know the difference between a RAD tool and a DBMS. Sweet mercy, this is crazy.
