ASP Database Retrieval/Entry using SQL
Originally posted by : Chris (cconlin@bellsouth.net)Okay, if someone could explain a few things to me, I'd be so grateful! I need to make a series of forms that, when filled out by a user, write information to a database as well as make calculations and display these calculations via ASP. I am willing to learn all of the code or whatever I may need to, but could someone point me in the right direction? Any books to recommend? Software? Should I use SQL? Should I use ASP.NET or ASP? (I'm new to ASP, understand concepts, but just not *comfortable* with it) If you could just steer me in the right direction, I'm willing to do the legwork, believe me... I just don't know where to start. Thanks so much!
