OK... worked on this for 3 weeks.. trying to learn and FRUSTRATED!!

Originally posted by : Matt (kacmatt@home.com)
OK.. everyone has a starting point at one time... now's mine!

Here's the deal, I have a site at http://www.websystemz.com, click on shopping, then search. Do a search for ANY item and it loads a table with results.

I am trying to get a detail page to load specifically for the item clicked on. I'm using FP2000 for the people, with an MS access database called shopdb.mdb.

I cannot seem to get it to load the specific details for the item selected. The query is for the item code which is unique. When it loads the detail page, it STILL shows ALL records in the database, not the specific one.

My problem, not knowing ASP in detail enough to create it. I've tried several things from here and www.w3schools.com and can't get it to work right. The page should be dynamically loaded for a product line of over 3000 items.

Does ANYONE have any clue as to how I can do this, CORRECTLY.... argh!!!

Thanks to all in advance!

Matt Kachurak
kacmatt@home.com
