Am I allowed to put affiliate link in my sig? Use this forum for either suggesting ideas or submitting feedback about our forums. Suggestions, constructive criticism, and other feedback appreciated.

Am I allowed to put affiliate link in my sig?
I read Forum Rules, and it's vague on this matter:

So can I or can't I put the affiliate link (or referral link, whatever the term is)

The site is MyLot - I don't think it's direct competition, and I'm contributing user, not some guy who joined here for spamming (I've been member for years)

I don't see a problem with placing that link in your signature. Looks like more of a social networking site and wouldn't be considered competition, IMO.

Because you have been a member so long and contribute, you'd be given an alert rather than a ban. You shouldn't have any problems, though.
