I noticed this the other day

What's the deal behind "reputation power" displayed below your postcount?

It shows you how much power you have when you leave someone else feedback.

so that means that if you Agree to post of mine I will receive 10 reputation points? cool!
what affects this Power? I assume the reputation itself combined with post count?
to get more bars we need to reach certain amount of Reputation Points... probably 50 or 100 before the second bar - hope to reach this quite soon!

it means that once you give reputation to someone, you must give reputation to 10 different members before being able to give reputation to that someone again. make sense, it prevents friends from giving reputation to each other just for fun...

I agree, I have several feedbacks and yet I only have reputation power of 1 to show for all those feedbacks

Jcaputo, Can you please explain how your reputation increases and how what banker posted works?

Best bet is go here

www.vbulletin.org

and search for reputation and read about it there.

We simply turned on the feature that came with vbuilletin so if you are super curious best bet is to go direct to the source and come back here and tell us what you found.

I will explain what I already know:
Green box = someone agreed to your post, adding to your Repuation Points
Red box = someone disagreed to your post, reducing your Repuation Points
Gray box = someone with Reputation Power 0 agreed or disagreed to your post.
for both Green and Red, the amount of given/taken points is equal to the Reputation Power of the one who agreed or disagreed.
Reputation Power is linked to post count, membership time and your own reputation points - the posts you have, the time you're member and the points you have, all affect your Power, but I'm not sure what is the formula though.
