Operation must use an updateable query

I keep getting this error. My application works fine on my school computer but I get this error when I try the application at home.

My database is within wwwroot and is set for read/write, as are all of the applicable files. I've checked the DSN connection and it too has read/write. I've checked the user permissions and they all have read/write.

I'm out of ideas.
Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Lilibeta

although problem is not specific yet i think the following solution may help :

right click on database file >> open proerties >> and see if it is read only . remove the read only property
