SiliconValley.com - To boost sales and reduce the cost of hybrids and other lower-emission vehicles, a bill in the California Assembly proposes that automakers be allowed to sell them through alternative channels -- perhaps at Costco, on eBay or even at health-food co-ops or churches -- and not only through dealerships.
