Sony loses PlayStation patent case, must pay $91M (MacCentral)

MacCentral - A U.S. court ordered Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) to pay Immersion Corp. US$90.7 million for patent infringement of touch feedback technology used in PlayStation games consoles, said court documents. Immersion's touch feedback technology has been supported in Mac OS X since 2002.
