2 questions on VBA
1: Does a free "posrtable" software exist to edit, compile, and run VBA projects?
2: Is there a manner (in VBA) to get an Excel function COUNTIF to have open criteria so that a user can enter it to count the occurences of a word on a excel sheet? Many thanx for your help ![]() |

VBA projects are part of Office... AFAIK, you can use VB6 to edit VBA apps, but that's about it.
Since VBA uses the instrinstic Office objects, its pointless (and impossible) to execute them outside of Office anyway. |
