application distribution
I have created an application, that writes to a sql server. I used the package and deployment wizard to create the setup file. It runs absolutely fine on 5 out of the 6 computers in my office. One of them, which happens to be the oldest machine here, (but still running windows 2000) will only run about half of the program. I can get it loaded but I keep getting run time error '-2147217872 (800400300)' and it shuts down.
Does anyone know where I might start to look for the cause of this? Is this machine missing some files? Do I need to provide more/better information for anyone to have an idea as to how to answer this? I'm very new to all of this. Any ideas .....anyone???? thanks kristin |
