OK, I have a Listbox search form onmy ASP page.
What I need is to check to see if either "Actor Last Name" or "Director Last Name" was selected and the action would change to a separate page for both of them (actresults.asp or direcresults.asp) I'm not very good at coding, so could someone help me with this VBScript OnClick handler?

OK, I think I'm on the right track here, but it's not working just yet. Could someone look at this code and advise me as to what I am missing or forgetting to do? I realize that I'm not using the OnClick method as stated above, so that might very well be it, but if you look at the code, it may become quite evident as to what I am trying to accomplish here.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// <form action="<% =pageArray %>" method="post" name="frmMovSearch" align="center"> --code-- --code-- --code-- </form> <% Dim pageArray(3), ALname, DLname page(0)="results.asp" page(1)="actresults.asp" page(2)="directresults.asp" If Document.frmMovSearch.optTypeSearch.Value="ALname" Then pageArray="page(1)" Else If Document.frmMovSearch.optTypeSearch.Value="DLname" Then pageArray="page(2)" Else pageArray="page(0)" End If End If %> Symptoms after using this code: Well, to tell the truth, NOTHING happens. All it does it refreshes itself with the search box empty, when it is SUPPOSED to go to either actresults.asp or directresults.asp. Solution: I need help with that... You are mixing up server-side processing and client browser javascript. Server side code executes to deliver the client browser page. You don't have access to any server side code from the client browser.
This question would be better in the asp forum, I think.
