Check if a word application is open
Hello can anyone help me with the following
I open MS Word from VB6 and Excell using code but I do not want to open 2 MS Word applications at the same time so I want to check if MS Word is already running and just add a document in place of opening a new MS Word application. I tried somethings but I am on the wrong track can anyone help me to get me on my way. Snake ... bite ![]() |

Well when you open ms word or excel you create a new object..
Check if that object is still open. However simple thing is just to close off the old one before the new one is opened. |
