OK, this is going to sound stupid, but I'm new
Two things I can't get the code to work, at all! First, I need the items in my combo box to pull from a table (the columns, and there are only 9!) then, I need my form to post the selection to a new field in my database.Anyone out there know what I mean? Or how I might do this? I have the my form linked and writing to my database, just can't get this combo box to post its entry!!! help please ![]() |

hah! told you I was new
I don't have code at this point. I created the combo box in design mode using the properties window to add my list items. If my database is connected, why won't my selection on the form write to my field? Do I have to write additional code for that? I could make the options radio buttons and have them wrote to a hidden text field but it takes up too much room on my form. I can't find any good examples online to relate to. I'm writing to a SQL Server 2000 database. Does anyone have a good example of code for a drop down combo box that needs to write the selection to a table?thanks for any help! |
