connecting to a remote ms-access database
hi ppl,
i'm new to this group and new to vb too.this might sound dumb, but here goes anywz. i'v been tryin to connect to a remote Ms-Access database using the m/c's IP address. i tried using the IP address in the connection string. it ain't happening. its recognizing the m/c name though. i need to make it work with an IP address, any help will b greatly appreciated. a few examples of code will speed up things ;-) thanx
