Is your grid bound to a database? If so perhaps your recordset isn't editable.

yeah it is bound to the database. So what can I do? Is there some way I can click on the row and have it open up an edit form? No workarounds? I've been reading and reading and reading! can't find anything

Look around on www.mvps.org, there is a huge wealth of information and code samples on that site.

Actually, I set - the properties of the SQL query, under recordset management, the lock type to Optimistic and it lets me make the changes I want.
thanks! |
