Datagrid Vs Flexgrids.
From what I understand, Datagrid does not need any coding, while the Flexgrids need them. Am in complete in my understanding. What will be benefits to using Flexgrids.
Right now, my basic need is to have a grid and when the user clicks on a row, it needs to read the 'primary_id' column, and pass it to another form which will open the data pertaining to the 'primary_id'. I am new to using grids, and any help will be greatly appreciated.. Thank you Vchell. |

Flex grids can be customized easier and more extensivly. I would suggest using flex grid if you like to use code to control data.

You'll find the documentation on both grids in the Controls section of the documentation found here
