Edit docs in asp
Hi,
How can i create a vb dll to instantiate an excel or word? I'm creating an application object in asp: CreateObject("Excel.Application") but its not working can not create object. I want to be able to edit word and excel docs that are saved on a server and then save them again on the server and not on the local drive of the user. i'm using asp to develop the website. Any help?? Thnx

Search google, there are tutorials out there.
It's hard to help without seeing code and the actual error you get, but a likely cause of your problem is insufficient file permission settings on the server.
