Excel currency conversion help?

Hello there,

I have a problem that I hope someone could help me with. I have attached the file I wish to manipulate to convert currency based on the exchange rates given on the second tab.
Ideally I would like the user to follow these steps:
1.user selects the figures he wishes to convert, using ctrl key or mouse drag.
2. activate macro
3.msgbox appears asking what currency he wishes to convert to( based on headings in tab2), then
4.another msgbox appears which asks to what end of day rate he wishes to base his conversion on( see tab 2), so it would be in the date format as of column A's on the USD monthly tab(tab 2).
5.output of selected figures shown on a list on a different tab or worksheet.

any ideas/solutions would greatly be appreciated wither in this or a simplified format...
