how to write program for recording from microphone and save in human readable format
hi everyone,
can any body tell me how to write a program for recording sound from microphone and save it in human readable format (text format ) for speech analysis. My os is window xp. please help...........

hey there,
i think that is quite a big task. Can you not just use something that is already available? I am not sure it is something someone can just give you a quick answer to on a forum. You will need to do some research into voice recognition etc i think. maybe i am wrong, but i seem to remember it being a final year uni project a few years back...
