IrDa Communication

Hi all,

i am developing an application in vb that needs to communicate with my mobile phone via Infrared. Anyone knows where
i can get info on programming irda communication for vb6 for application running in win xp?

I have a same question but i want to communicate with my phone using data cable.. Actually i want to read sms from my mobile and send sms from computer...
