Is it posible to output from VB to outlook

I wanted to know if it is possible to use VB to update a users calender in outlook 2003, we are going to be using CRM and need to diarise call backs I was looking at CRM being able to output to outlook calander I have seen a script which will update the calander entries just wanted to know if there was a way of creating times dates in a calender
