Map implementation using VB
Hi there...
I have a south american map and I would like to implement the map in such a way using Visual Basic that when user drag the mouse on the top of Bragil, it will be highlighted and and a the population of that country will be visible. Do you have any clue how to approch this problem? |

There are GIS programs out there that can build much of the code you are looking for. For instance ARC Internet Map Server can serve GIS maps out to the Web and have programming tools that allow XML and VB to be incorporated. Not sure if you are building a web app or what...but I am a 20+ GIS guy who is now retired and perhaps more information will help me troubleshoot your problem.

Well I am not planning to implement web application but if it is easier I might change my mind. But the whole application need to be done in VB.NET.

Sorry for the last post, I found a very good example of maps in VB (I downloaded from the net sometime ago and I couldn't find it)
