PPT generator. Too complex an idea?
I'm getting better at this stuff. But my ideas are advancing faster than my knowledge. Obviously don't want anyone to do it for me, just looking for a point in the right direction.
My idea is having seperate slide shows. I'd like my users to be able to select different slide shows and have the program automatically join the selected shows into one.
I started testing with access in which I have a table listing of the shows available, a yes/no control, and the slide show itself as an OLE. The user checks off the y/n control and then clicks a control button. The programming behind which would take all shows selected and join them into one and opens ppt. OK, pretty big for me but I want to try. I know we can do custom shows through ppt, but I'm looking to incorporate this with a db and make it as user friendly as possible.
Am I starting on the right track??
