Style for Tab Control in V Studio

I am converting an MS Access application to Visual Basic. In MS Access when using the tab control you can set the tab style to acNone to that the user can’t select the tabs. Depending on what option the user chooses determines what page of the tab control is selected. Is there a way to set the tab style to None is Visual Basic? I can figure it out.
I’m using Visual Studio 2005
