Tables in RichText Box

i was working on making an rtf editor.. is there any way i can add tables (rows and columns and not database) to the rtf editor.. like if i want to give the user the option to create a new table in the text space.. rtf box supports tables is something i know for sure coz i was able to paste one from an existing file.. just wanted to know if someone knows any function or command to create a table in the rtf box..

I don't know, but you might make a word document with a table, and save it as rtf & look over what the rtf looks like for a table.

Can you just build the table rtf in your code and force-feed it into the rtf control text? There isn't a table building method for the control that I'm aware of.

What do you mean the table looks the same in a word doc as it does it rtf? RTF is nothing but a bunch of text. Create a table in word save it as an rtf and then open it in note pad. Then you will see the construct of a table in rtf. here is 2 row 5 column table in rtf
Code:
}\trowd \irow0\irowband0\ts15\trgaph108\trleft-108\trbrdrt\brdrs\brdrw10 \trbrdrl\brdrs\brdrw10

You'll have to figure out how to build the table rtf code, I don't know an easy way but that doesn't mean there isn't one

Use the TextRTF property to manipulate the underlying rtf code for the control
