Post Vb 6.0 and SQL student records system

i have created the db in SQL 2000 but now left is a front end and this is the objective of the system.

- capture student exam marks, by generating a list of students then marks and comment can be entered
-print a report of the marks and comments
-accept data for students personal details

so pliz assist with a front end not complex but simple, i have attached the tables in my database, maybe you can send just the vb code, thank you
Attached Files
File Type: zip tables in sql.zip (24.8 KB, 162 views)

Hi,

Do you really think that someone will just give up their time and build the complete frontend for you?

You will learn a lot more (I presume its for some sort of assignment or project!!!) if you attempt to work through it yourself!!!

The easiest way to get started would be to work through a tutorial on ADO controls which will teach you how to bind controls on your form to fields in your database. I found this one very well written and easy to follow:
http://www.devarticles.com/c/a/Visual-Basic/Implementing-An-ADO-Data-Control-With-VB6/

Try working through the above tutorial and if you have any trouble just post the problem and I will point you in the right direction.

You will get a better response if you attempt things yourself and post specific questions along with any code that you have written.
