Question VB Help

Hi Guys,

I have just downloaded VB 2005 express. I have used VB 6 before so have a pretty good knowledge of the language. The problem i am faced is that i am looking at building an app that interacts with a database. Does anybody have/know of a good tutorial of something like a logon script in VB to get me started. Have had a look at a few/play about but i have had no joy so far being able to get the data out of my db, thats if i have set it up correctly.

All help/comments welcome!

Definitely. The smartest way is to work with a datasource control, such as the SqlDataSource control.

The interface is very simple and highly intuitive, and you should be able to use it the first time out with no training, as long as you know how to connect to a database and write a SQL statement.

Enjoy!
