VB is better than other language
hi,
I started with c and c++ which is not object-oriented language, and is a little more difficult, but it is a good language.
Visual basics are not more difficult, Therefore I love this language.But i have some problem Vb data base connectivity.

1) C++ is an object oriented language, VB 6.0 is not an object oriented language.

2) What exactly are you having issues with? just create a connection string to the database, open the connection and use the objects available.

Hey who told u that C++ is not an object oriented programing language. Indeed it is the most powerfull language as far as i know.
Comming to ur database connectivity problem u go through this site. www.ConnectionStrings.com U can get all the database connectivity strings in this page.

That's definitely arguable. .NET is much more powerful than any of it's predecessors (VB, C++, etc...)

That's definitely arguable. .NET is much more powerful than any of it's predecessors (VB, C++, etc...)

May be... But look at my statement I told that "as far as i know" I dont now any thing about .net.
