Question VB with Access Database

Hello All,
i am new to Microsoft Access. i want to design a project using VB and MS Access Database.
how can i create tables using MS Access? and after creating the Database how can i connect the database to frontend?
i mean i want to know the connection string?
as per my knowledge Microsoft Access also installed when we instal Visual Studio, but i am unalbe to c the MS Access in my system. so, how can i check this?

Sounds like you don't have Access on your computer.

Start by looking around the Access and VB sections of www.mvps.org for help and samples. You can do all you want but you need to have basic knowledge of how the pieces tie together. You need basic SQL knowledge, Access knowledge and VB knowledge.

Question VB Project

I worked on VB and Oracle erliar but i don't have knowledge with Access Projects. please let me know how can i connect Access thru VB?

You might not have added the reference.

Check you have Access for a start. Then add the ADO reference. Then add Microsoft Access object library.

Hi All,
I am a beginner to VB.I want to use ACCESS for database.i want to connect Vb to access but i dont know how..Can anybody of you help me.I want to know from the very first point that i have to follow to connect Access database.I have made a form for login.Have also created a table in access for that.Now i want to verify username and password from that table.How can i connect database to VB.
