Is there anybody who knows where I could possibly get ahold of a free program? An older version (abandoware, even) would be perfectly fine. I'm in a basic visual basic programming class right now and it would be awesome to work a bit at home too..
Thanks, BBD

There used to be a free learning edition of VB4 or VB5 available from MS. I don't know if it's still around. But keep in mind VB.NET and VB6 are quite different from earlier versions of VB.
Otherwise look on ebay, maybe.

Hi, go to a torrent site or use a p2p program to get a tutorial.
I used a book called introductory Visual Basic. It tells you all the essential things to know. However, you can read all you want doesn't mean you'll be good...i know that sounds bad, but what i am trying to say is that, make a program and use a forum to help you and watch at the end of making the program, you will have learnt so much. |
