I have bought a new dell laptop with Windows 7 (64 bit) running. I want to install Visual Studio 6. When I tried to install visual studio 6, I get a error message on compatibility. Is it possible to install Visual studio 6 in WIndows 7 Basic?

Sorry to say that but visual Studio 6 can't be installed on Windows 7. You have to switch to windows xp.

Before install the program, do you have check it software requirement? Usually, there are any information about compatibility for each software. If you have VS 6 and cannot be install in your Windows 7, I think that software is not compatible with the OS.
