at the top of the page on platemateuk.com you have an image with rounded edges about 600x10 px ? and same at the bottom but reversed?
the middle image, is this 600x1 px? set as a background image? do you put these into tables? I have tried this and it puts lines all over my page and if i put them into tables it shows white lines in between?! please can you help me? |

You can put them into a table, but make sure that cellspacing=0 and cellpadding=0.

I'd recommend you don't use tables for layouts. Take a look at this link to achieve what you're looking for with semantically correct XHTML/CSS
